That's right! The Whole Earth Festival is going back to the DISC for another rocking skate party. Last year was a great time with Mr. Glass on the decks and Sex Funk and Danger on the rink. This year we'll have Mr. Glass back again and our very own Vee rocking the sound and CFR, a weffie favorite from WEF 2008 playing live for your entertainment.
Of course, it is a benefit so be prepared for a live auction of amazingly good items and services donated by WEF staff and friends. Massages, crafts, food and more to be auctioned off to the highest bidder, so bring cash!
Also, the ever-popular WEF baked goods sale is returing and refreshments will be on sale.
This event is ZERO WASTE and will feature WERC's own cups and plates. Please help us by not bringing any non-recyclable or compostable waste. Compost and recycling will be provided.
Costumes are encoraged! They contribute to the nostalgia and good vibe for everyone, so bust out that polyester and bellbottoms and get that funky hair going.
The venue is closing at the end of the month so this is the last opportunity to partake in this awesome party. The DISC is located by the train tracks on 2nd ave at Pena. To get there from campus, go through downtown on 3rd until it ends at L, turn right and go two blocks until it veers left and turns into 2nd. Follow this for about a mile - if you don't see it, keep going. It is at Pena, turn left and find the door on the Pena side.
